Kris Hemensley
Melbourne: button Proprietor Kris Hemensley (photo, left) invites you to join the many other writers and readers for whom Collected Works has become the major poetry and ideas bookshop in Australia. Collected Works has been around since 1984, and has moved twice (see below). They specialise in: poetry and prose — Australian, British, Irish, North American, European, Asia/Pacific, Chinese, Japanese, South American, Asian, African, Middle Eastern and Caribbean. They are proud of their wide range of Australian small press titles, literary magazines and literature in translation.
Collected Works, although primarily a bookshop of new stock, sometimes has an out-of-print and/or secondhand copy of that rare title. And while you're here, why not read a poem by Kris Hemensley in Jacket # 3?
If you can't visit in person, they service mail order enquiries from interstate and around the world — Visa, Mastercard and Bankcard welcome — and you can send an email to Kris Hemensley at kris@collectedworks.com.au. There’s a website and a discussion forum: http://www.collectedworks.com.au/

Art Books Only
Sharon Tredinnick, the proprietor of Published Art, says:

I opened Published Art in November 1999 as a very specialised bookshop servicing the art, architecture and design communities. The shop was established to work on the basis of stocking the most interesting publications available internationally, getting them into the shop quickly, and at the best possible prices.
Published Art is different from all other bookshops in both form and content. The differences are that I only stock current titles selected from the best international publishers, and they are all displayed as they are meant to be with their covers visible.
Often the shop will have books and magazines ahead of other stores, and often at better prices, because I airfreight directly most of my European / American / Japanese publications. The stock changes frequently with new books arriving daily. If a book is not in stock this usually means that I have had it and sold out, but I can easily order it again for you.
