manoeuvring a dark path
in the pale green
days of too
much chlorine
we swapped m&m’s
outside the 10th annual
conference of weights
and measures
the pulmonary oedema
was the tail of her pleasures
served scones
at le dernier’s coronation
like rings on the floor
of the country pool
it was their business
to indulge the whims of the fool
